Welcome to UaiTec. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

To use UaiTec, you must:

• Be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
• Maintain only one account per person.

UaiTec provides AI-powered tools for processing audio and video content:

• Transcription: Converting speech to text using AI speech recognition.
• Translation: Translating content between 100+ languages.
• Content Analysis: Generating summaries, key points, and insights.
• Storage: Secure cloud storage for your media and processed content.
• Creator Marketplace: Platform for sharing and selling educational content (coming soon).

Our AI-powered features are designed to assist you, but have inherent limitations:

• AI transcription and translation may contain errors. Always review important content.
• AI processing is performed by third-party providers (OpenAI, Google, AWS) under enterprise agreements.
• Your content is never used to train AI models under our enterprise agreements.
• AI-generated content should be reviewed by humans before being relied upon for critical decisions.

EU AI Act Disclosure: In accordance with EU AI Act transparency requirements, UaiTec uses AI systems for transcription (speech-to-text), translation, and content analysis. These systems may produce errors and should not be solely relied upon without human verification.

You retain ownership of content you upload to UaiTec.

Ownership

You retain all rights to your original content. UaiTec does not claim ownership of your media files, transcripts, or other user-generated content.

License to UaiTec

By uploading content, you grant UaiTec a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely to provide our services. This license ends when you delete your content or account.

Prohibited Content

• Content that violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Content that infringes intellectual property rights of others.
• Content that is defamatory, harassing, or promotes violence.
• Content depicting minors in any inappropriate context.

If you sell content through our marketplace:

• You must have full rights to sell the content you list.
• You set your own prices; UaiTec provides pricing guidance but does not dictate prices.
• UaiTec charges a platform fee (currently 15%) on marketplace transactions.
• You are responsible for reporting and paying taxes on your earnings.

UaiTec reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms or our content policies.

For paid subscriptions and services:

• Billing occurs at the start of each billing cycle (monthly or annually).
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• We may change pricing with 30 days advance notice.
• Refunds are provided at our discretion; contact info@uaitec.ai for assistance.

You agree not to:

• Use UaiTec to harm others or for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits or security measures.
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from UaiTec.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our service.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

UaiTec and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by UaiTec and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our name, logo, and product names are trademarks of UaiTec.

We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy:

• Your content is processed to provide services and is not sold to third parties.
• Data is stored securely with encryption at rest and in transit.
• You can request deletion of your data at any time through account settings or by contacting us.

UaiTec is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. Users should verify important information independently.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UaiTec shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UaiTec and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

Your access to UaiTec may be terminated:

• By you at any time by deleting your account.
• By UaiTec for violation of these terms or for any reason with reasonable notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. For disputes arising from these Terms, the courts of Madrid, Spain shall have jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws of your country of residence mandate otherwise. For EU residents, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence will apply.
